PowerPoint classes, Foundation and Intermediate, can be combined for a very full day of instruction for those who are mouse-hardy.
We begin from the very beginning with an introduction to screen components and the multiple ways you may chose to create a presentation. We discuss design considerations along the way in building your own presentation. Learn to manage Views, Editing, and Layouts. Text and graphics are practiced in full, (but not to worry if you are not a graphic designer). Learn to insert automatic slide numbers, use special effects for transitions from one slide to the next, and sharing slides with other presentations. By the end of the class, you will be able to create and run a very decent slide show!
The plot thickens! Masters control the background elements of every slide. Master the masters. Change backgrounds on individual slides. Slide effects are good, but some animation is even better. Add some spice to the presentation without overwhelming the audience. PowerPoint components will be examined as well as integration capabilities with Word and Excel. Create custom shows and share slides with other presentations to avoid duplicating your work. Tables and Charts, SmartArt, and Multi-Media Clips will be inserted and manipulated. This class is all about the details.
